What is Thanksgiving about?

Everybody knows about Thanksgiving celebration because of American cinema but, do you really know why  American people celebrate it?

Monica, our conversation assistant, has shared her culture, experiences and a little bit about the history of Thanksgiving with our students.

These videos may help you to understand Thanksgiving history better. 

Nowadays, families celebrate Thanksgiving by eating turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

On Thanksgiving they give thanks for all that they have.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City and NFL football games are special Thanksgiving Day events.
